2.) BootCamp drivers downloaded and changed as of. The modifications are MacHaldriver.sys has been completely removed and through this script installs a MacHaldriver.inf instead to avoid Blue Screen Of Death with Windows 10 ver. 1903 or higher because of incompatibility. I keep everything in folders and on DMG. I have Windows drive with any installers and updates. I copied the Windows Boot Camp volume to a folder (950MB I think for Boot Camp 3.0) so I would have it, and have it backed up. Laptops I can see not having huge multiple hard drives and limited smaller drives and drive space.

When running Windows, locate the Boot Camp folder on the USB media you created in Step 3 and double click to open it. Double click on setup to start installing the Boot Camp Support Software. When prompted to allow changes, click on Yes and follow the onscreen instructions. Installation can take a few minutes. Don't interrupt the installation. I have a 2010 Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard (10.6.8) installed and couldn't get the right Boot Camp upgrade using any of the Apple download software from within the bootcamp Application. After installing this Update/Upgrade suddenly all of the required drivers appeared in the Windows 'Device manager' and everything started working perfectly.

- Once your pkg is downloaded, double click it and install to a folder on your hard drive so you know where to find it.
- The folder contains a nest of folders, the last of which contains a dmg disk image file. Double click to open. Voila. Here are your Windows installer files.
- Copy them to a usb drive, or a burnable CD. NB, it's 600MB or even over 1GB. A CD is usually max 800MB.
- Done. You can now proceed with Boot Camp assistant Windows installation.
